In the Navy

I picked up this navy blue Ann Taylor blazer at The Goodwill for $9.99 and I love it! It is so classic... double-breasted with tortoise buttons...fab! Today, I've paired it with olive green cargo shorts belted with a silk scarf in a dark royal blue print. The classic styling of the jacket juxtaposed to the rugged cargo shorts has utilitarian-chic sorta vibe, don't ya think?  I think I'm entering into a new phase for summer...SHORTS, SHORTS, SHORTS! I've been picturing pretty much every blazer in my closet with shorts, and trust me when I say the blazers are practically endless! LOL!  Pairing a blazer with shorts is also a great way to take your fave shorts from the weekend to the office! If you have a casual work environment, but still want to look polished, trying throwing your fave blazer over your fave shorts!  I'm warning you now, this will not be the last shorts/blazer combo you see from me this summer!

What I'm Wearing...
~ Ann Taylor Blazer, thrifted
~ H&M blush tank (in stores now, for $5.95)
~ khaki cargo shorts
~ silk blue scarf
~ Sheikh nude strappy sandals
~ Arden B, necklace
~ H&M silver bangle...again!
~ Random wooden bracelet
~ Mossimo sunglasses

Before I go, I have to give a BIG shoutout to my little sister, Noel.  She graduated from high school today! Yay! Isn't she gorgeous!!! She is such a little lady nowadays.  I hate to sound cliche but I literally used to change her diapers, now she's all grown up! I'm old!!! Lol.  But seriously, I am so very proud of her!  She is off to new adventures next year, and I know she is going to be very successful! I look forward to watching he continue to blossom!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

P.S.  By the time you read this post, it will be tomorrow! I didn't get home from the graduation until pretty late and I decided to schedule my post for morning since I figured no one would be up reading blogs at midnight on a Monday! ha!  Hopefully, this means there will be two posts today/tomorrow! Lol
