She's Such a Freakin Lady...

Today, I woke up feeling very ladylike, and I'd say nothing makes you feel more feminine and sexy than a classic pencil skirt.  When I wear a pencil skirt I am pretty sure that I automatically get a little more wing in my hips...you know what I mean? and paired with a silky top...mmm hmmm, I'm feeling like a natural woman. I absolutely love this little high-waisted navy blue tweed number, and the pockets are too die for! Have I mentioned my obsession with skirts and dresses with pockets??? love, love, love!  There is just something about femininity + functionality that just speaks to me. So back to the skirt... it is actually a part of suit, though I've never worn the jacket with the skirt.  The jacket is a 60's inspired "cocoon" coat that you guys probably won't see making its way out of the closet until the Fall, when I'll likely be wearing it as an overcoat with jeans and boots rather than as a suit.

I have to apologize in advance about the quality of the pictures. They are so dark! As you all know, I finally bought a replacement charger for my camera.  I was back in action for a mere two weeks, and bam! my camera just croaked.  For no apparent reason, after a pretty decent photo shoot, it just died.. for good! ugh! So for now, its back to the iPhone until I get a new camera.  My fiance' is coming to visit next week and he's gonna bring me his camera to use until I get a new one. I really want to get a good SLR camera, buuuuttt, that's not really in the budget right now, so I'll probably just get another digital.  Any suggestions?? What camera's do you all have???

What I'm Wearing...
~ H&M LOGG denim jacket
~ Yellow silk "Moonbeam Blouse"

I'll definitely be heading over to H&M to pick up Chelsey's jeggings, which she mentioned were only $10!!! gotta love it!

I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing Memorial Day! I spent the day with my girls who I LOVE for a little bit BBQ and ummm...libations :)  Good Times!!!

What I wore...
I'm not all that thrilled with this outfit, and I wasn't able to get any good full length shots, but the highlight of my outfit is my top which I purchased at the Goodwill for like $2.  LOVE IT!!!
~ Petticoat Alley blush sheer cami
~ Black silk cami layered under sheer cami

You'll notice that I snagged my top on my engagement ring when I was putting it on.  I am still getting used to that! I keep snagging stuff... and I just giggle because I'm so happy! On that note, would you believe that my fiance' reads each and every post!!! He said, why would I pass up the chance to look at pictures of you???  He's so sweet and supportive...I love him!
