Pageboy

Nothing cures bad hair day woes like a cute hat! I've had this Helen Kaminksi cognac suede pageboy hat for years and it is always a chic option for bad hair days.  I usually save this hat for my fall and winter looks, but paired with boyfriend jeans and a casual peasant top it's perfect for a casual summer day...especially when your hair has decided to rebel against you at 7:21 am and you have to leave the house at 7:30.

I've got to make this a quick post because the Fabrice and I are gonna spend a little quality time tonight and watch some movies! I have a netflix account that I'm paying $13 a month for (I think!).  Unfortunately, I keep the same movies for months soooo technically I'm paying like $60 per movie! What a waste! I could be buying shoes with that money :)

Sorry for the dark face pictures! I didn't realize how much of a shadow the hat was casting on my face until I uploaded the pics on my computer and there was no way I could possibly take them over! Soooooo I guess it is what it is...

What I'm Wearing
 ~ Helen Kaminski pageboy hat
(This hat is ancient but check out the current collection if you're into hats! The hats are gorgeous)
~ White peasant top and white cami underneath
~ Thrifted boyfriend jeans
~ Brown leather belt
~ J. lo peep toe ankle strap pumps
~ H&M silver bangle
~ Wooden bracelet
~ Forever 21 earrings
~ Tiffany's toggle necklace worn as a bracelt
~ Mossimo sunnies

I adore these shoes.  I bought them back in 2007.  They are made completely of a cork material with colorful embroidery all over the upper.  When I put them on this morning, I thought to myself "Does J. Lo even have a fashion line anymore?  A quick google search leads me to believe that she does not.  To be honest, her clothes were far from cute, in my opinion but she had some great shoes!  I have a couple that I really like!

So, I'm thinking this outfit is a little boring.  Seeing as how I woke up an hour late at 7:05, I guess that should be no surprise!  This week has been rough, I tell you.  Oh well, tomorrow is another day!

Thanks for stopping by!!
