Inspired by Karen...

Okay, so who out there in the blogosphere reads Where Did you Get That?  If you don't have this blog on your blogroll, do yourself a favor and check it out now!  The author Karen has a fabulous eclectic style! So, I am absolutely OBSESSED with Karen's white lace DVF dress! I think she is too because I've a couple encore presentations of the dress on her blog (here and here) and each time she accessorizes the dress a tad bit differently and I become more obsessed with it! Oh, and we won't even talk about the Alexander Wang bucket bag *drooling*!!! This budget business is THE PITS I tell you!

I have been scouring the internet looking for an affordable alternative and I've come to the conclusion that if I really want this look, I'm gonna have to be prepared to shell out a couple hundred bucks minimum or hit up a million thrift shops (Olivia, maybe you can help me out with this)! Anyway, I did find a dress at Bloomies on sale for $146!!!! It that has an oversized t-shirt fit that I love so I decided to create a little "Inspired by Karen" set with it. The only thing I don't like about this dress is that it doesn't have the DVF scalloped v-neck and the extra long bell sleeves. Okay, so the dress is completely different, but whatever, I still like it! haha!
