Meet The Fiance'

Fabrice and I are having fun doing something we have not been able to do during the course of our long distance relationship -- dating! You know... going out to dinner... going to the movies.. normal dating stuff? It's been really nice to not have to plan our dates 30 days in advance!  Friday night, we went out for Sushi and he obliged me and watched Eat, Pray, Love. I have to say that while I did enjoy the movie, it paled in comparison to the book, which I LOVED. Can't say that I loved the movie, but it was okay.  after watching the movie, Fabrice has come to the conclusion that all women are crazy and confused.

Mr. Fabrice Saint-Elie a.k.a "The Fiance"

Anyway, I am still living off of the clothes that were packed in my two suitcases and I am so over it! I want the rest of my clothes. Unfortunately, they are packed up in 10 boxes in an undisclosed location. I have not been able to reach the shipping service I used in the last 5 days!!! I have called numerous times... no answer!  Left many voice mails. no returned calls! I PRAY THAT MY CLOTHES ARE SAFELY MAKING THEIR WAY TO ME! I really don't know what else to do at this point but to keep calling. I sent an email on Friday, so let's hope I get a call or email reply tomorrow. I am probably going cry uncontrollably if my clothes don't show up soon. My budget CANNOT afford such wardrobe devastation.

I was supposed to be participating in a 10 items for 30 days challenge with our friend Goody over at Curvatude, anyway. I kinda punked out because I couldn't decide on 10 items. It seems the fashion gods have decided to have a little fun with me, after all! I put together this little outfit with a bit of an attitude. I actually do like the outfit, but I HATE not having wardrobe options so I kind of felt forced into it... therefore in my sick, twisted, mind, every outfit I come up with is boring by default. I know... just plain silly! Lol...

Top: Ideology | Jeans: No name, TJ Maxx | Bag:  thrifted | Shoes: J. Lo | Necklace & Leather Cuff: Farmer's Market | Watch: Michael Kors

This necklace is one of my new faves. I rarely buy gold accessories until I need them, and by then it is usually too late and I end up just going without. I picked up this necklace at one of the booths at the Farmer's Market for $5!!!! and I love it! Fab calls it my "Mr. T" necklace. Lol! I think it's great. It is simple enough to go with just about anything.  I am going to have to put gold accessories on my wish list so I don't play this thing out. You guys know how I do...

I have had these jeans for a couple years. I remember the day that I bought them. They were only $16.99 at TJ Maxx.  I am not really sure what made me try them on. They are not a name brand, and there wasn't really anything special about them except that they were cropped. I suppose I thought they'd work well with boots.  I slid these babies on and they fit like butter! They are so figure flattering. Of course they are perfect for boots, but they look very sexy with heels, too. They hit at just the right spot to bare a little ankle but the super slim cut prevents the stumpy look.  These jeans almost fit like jeggings, but they are definitely regular old jeans.

What are your thoughts on cropped pants?
What are you thoughts on jeggings? Have you given them a try?
Are you a gold or silver lady?

Thanks for stopping by!!
