Anyway, I haven't taken any pictures here in ATL just yet, but I do have a couple more days of photos from LA to share with you all. I told you guys that I went a little flower pin crazy. You guys will be relieved to know that this group of pictures is the LAST of the flower pin photos...for now...the flower pin will return... don't you worry! Lol!

This GORGEOUS tie dye maxi dress by Gipsy 05 was a gift from a friend...Thanks lady!!! you know who you are... she and I wear the same size and every once and a while she'll have something fabulous that she doesn't want, and of course I am more than happy to take it off her hands. She and I hung out a month or so ago and she was wearing a gorgeous strapless Gipsy 05 tie dye maxi that I was lusting after! She mentioned that she had another one but she didn't know if she liked as much, and if she decided she didn't want it I could have it. Well from that moment on, I just assumed possession of the dress. Lol... positive thinking right? A couple weeks ago I drove out to her house for a watermelon festival and of course I had to ask about "my" tie dye dress and wouldn't you know it, she went into the closet and gave it to me! YAY!!! I love it!
The thing that I love most about this dress is that it is truly floor sweeping. At 5'4", I can't even wear flats with it (Well, I could tie a knot on the side if I really wanted to rock flat sandals). I actually had to whip out one of my tallest pairs of sandals, so it would be perfect for you tall gals out there that have a hard time finding maxi dresses and skirts that actually sweep the floor.
This dress has a racer back, and I think I've mentioned my disdain for strapless bras and racer back bras are tricky because depending on the cut of the racer back, sometimes you can still see them....especially the convertible versions. I decided to layer a scoop back white cami under it. The scoop back is a great option because it still reveals a bit of back so it doesn't take away from the sexiness of the racer back but the strap placement is perfect for a regular bra.... win-win!
Now, I have to tell you that Gipsy 05 dresses are a little bit pricey, retailing from $100 to $200. The Hollywood based brand has been popularized by celebrities like Paris Hilton, Vanessa Hudgens, Lauren Conrad, and the list goes on and on....

Obviously, for these ladies $150 for a dress is a drop in the bucket. For me, not so much, so I REALLY appreciate receiving this lovely gift. That being said, I do love the weightless fabric, the floor sweeping length and the saturated but airy tie-dye print of the dress. If this price range is in your budget, I would DEFINITELY recommend Gipsy 05 clothing overall... the fabrication, and the craftsmanship is really top notch. I'll definitely keep their website bookmarked in hopes of catching something on sale!
So, I am pretty sure that the next Goofy Pics post will be shot right here in Fayetteville, GA. The back yard at my new house is AMAZING...breathtaking...absolutely beautiful! Oh, and in my quest for the perfect affordable cutting board, I walked into TJ Maxx and was pleasantly surprised by a fabulous boots selection. They had way more options than the TJ Maxx back in LA. Gold star for ATLANTA! I am ready to do a little bit of fall shopping damage once I get settled in!
One last thing... speaking of shopping! It's labor day weekend...so you know what that means... sales, sales, sales... Don't forget to check out the special offers on my sidebar! Happy Labor Day...and Happy Shopping!!!
