My Little Sister is All Grown Up *tear*

My little sister Noel is off to prom this Saturday. Wow.  I am 11 years older than her and I can't believe she is all grown up now.  Prom Saturday, followed by graduation, and then she's off to college in Houston, TX.  Not to sound cliche, but I can remember changing her diapers (yes, I changed diapers at 11)!  and I remember when she started walking, and I remember when this glamazon HATED getting her hair combed.  She'd see me coming down the hall with a comb and SCREEEAM like I was coming to kill her.  But my oh, oh my how she's grown! she is absolutely beautiful!!!!

I won't be able to see her off to Prom because I'll be in FL attending my boyfriend's law school graduation, but I did get the honor of helping her shop for shoes and accessories!  She is having her dress made.  Inspired by singer Keri Hilson's Rami Kashou black flamenco style dress! Noel's dress will actually be gold instead of black.  The gold satin fabric made it a little difficult to find shoes since Noel insisted on wearing a pump instead of a sandal!!! We found this cute peep-toe pump (pictured below as "The Runner-up) at Bakers, but of course they didn't have her size.  To make matters worse, they had no way of checking the inventory of other nearby stores! UGH! But, after driving from Torrance to Culver City and back to Torrance (My LA peeps will no what that means), we finally found the PERFECT shoe at Macy's -- the Steve Madden Caryssa in snake skin with a gold platform and heel.  They are gorgeous!

The Look...
I love you little sis! I won't be there to fulfill as the official paparazzi on your big day so I'll be counting on mom to take a million pics!  Have fun, be safe, and make it memorable!  p.s. I am going to check with Mom to make sure you wore makeup! It's prom, damn it!  *smooches*
