Goofy Pics: On the Runway...the Aiport Runway, That Is (and Gray Pencil Dress Options for Lilly)

Those of you who following my Loving Long Distance blog know that I have been in a long distance relationship for the past year with my awesome boyfriend, Fabrice, who lives in Florida where he is attending law school.  I guess I should say WAS attending law school because he is actually graduating this Saturday!!! YAY!!!! I am so excited for him.  I am actually blogging from the plane at the moment (gotta love GoGo inflight wi-fi for long flights) on my way to FL for the graduation...I'm bubbling with excitement!!!  I'll also be posting a graduation outfit poll tomorrow, so look out for that!

Now, one of the fun things about long distance dating is that every time we see each other it's like a first date.  We only see each other once a month and each time is like a fashion extravanganza for me.  I muss and fuss around with outfits for two weeks (minimum) leading up to to the trip.  For some reason, with all the fuss I always seem to forget to plan an airport outfit! Now, I have to admit that under normal circumstances I am more of a sweats and flip flops kinda traveler but that is certainly not appropriate for my once-a-month rendezvous with my long distance love!  So without fail, the night before every trip, with my suitcase packed, I am tearin my closet apart looking for a "comfy chic" airport outfit.  Since I am traveling from one coast to the next, the outfit has to be a) comfy, b) warm (planes are always so cold).  Really, the oufit just has to be cute enough to remind him how cute I am (LOL) when he spots me walking down the stairs to baggage claim!  But, traveling from coast to coast, I usually get to FL pretty late and I'm tired so we don't really do anything special the night I arrive, so I wouldn't want to waste an outfit either.  Usually I try to wear some sort of sundress, but the past couple trips I have been FREEZING on the plane so this time around I opted for jeans.  As luck would have it my flight was HOT and I was sweating.  Isn't that how it always works out?

On another note, one of my fellow blogger friends, Lilly at Simply Me is on the hunt for an inexpensive pencil dress, preferably in light gray (under $100 would work, but under $50 is preferable)... I found a few options on Shop Style from Asos.com.  I've never purchased from Asos, but they come up in my Shop Style searches quite often.  I believe they are out of the UK but I checked and they ship to the US for a $6 flat rate with a delivery window of 8 days. NOT BAD!!!  Anyway, does anybody else have any suggestions for Lilly?
